Ingredient Tips for Dill Pickle Chicken Salad

  • Chicken: Use rotisserie chicken to keep this recipe quick and easy. Almost any cooked chicken can be used, grilled chicken will add a nice smoky flavor.
  • Pickles: I love crunchy dill pickles in this recipe—you can replace half of the dills with sweet pickles if you’d like.
  • Mayonnaise: Mayonnaise is the base, swap half for Greek yogurt to reduce the fat and increase the protein a little bit!

Variations and Additions

  • Swap dried dill for fresh or add other fresh herbs—parsley and tarragon are great.
  • Stretch it further by adding chopped cucumber and diced avocado.
  • Pickled jalapenos can add a nice spicy little kick!

Serving Suggestions

  • Spoon it over crackers for a snack.
  • Keep it low-carb by serving it in lettuce cups or with cucumber slices.
  • Make it into a sandwich on croissants or toast.
