Ingredient Tips for Dill Pickle Chicken Salad
- Chicken: Use rotisserie chicken to keep this recipe quick and easy. Almost any cooked chicken can be used, grilled chicken will add a nice smoky flavor.
- Pickles: I love crunchy dill pickles in this recipe—you can replace half of the dills with sweet pickles if you’d like.
- Mayonnaise: Mayonnaise is the base, swap half for Greek yogurt to reduce the fat and increase the protein a little bit!
Variations and Additions
- Swap dried dill for fresh or add other fresh herbs—parsley and tarragon are great.
- Stretch it further by adding chopped cucumber and diced avocado.
- Pickled jalapenos can add a nice spicy little kick!
