What’s in Pickle Lemonade?

  • Lemons: Choose fresh lemons for this recipe. Before juicing, roll the lemon between your hands or on the counter to soften. This will help release more juice.
  • Dill Pickle Juice: Use classic refrigerated dill pickle juice for this recipe. Avoid sweet pickles, bread and butter pickles, or spicy pickles.

Spiked Pickle Lemonade

To make a lemonade pickle cocktail add 1 to 1½ oz of alcohol per serving (per 8 ounce glass).

Mix with a little vodka to make the pickle flavor shine. Gin would also pair well with the dill and lemon. Tequila, whiskey, and Mezcal are other great options.
