Dill Pickle Salad Dressing

Ingredients  

  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1 ½ teaspoon dried dill
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 medium dill pickles
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons dill pickle juice
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions 

  • Grate the dill pickles with the large holes on a box grater.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk sour cream and mayonnaise until smooth.
  • Stir in parsley, dill, garlic powder, sugar, onion powder, and shredded dill pickles.
  • Add dill pickle juice a tablespoon at a time to reach the desired consistency.
  • Refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

To use fresh herbs: 
  • replace dried parsley with 2 tablespoons fresh parslye
  • replace dried dill with 1 tablespoon fresh dill
