A chickle is a combination of cheese and a dill pickle. In this recipe, the cheese is cooked in a pan and then wrapped around the pickle.

- 4 dill pickle spears or 2 whole dill pickles
- 4 cheddar cheese slices or 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 tablespoons ranch dressing for serving, optional
Instructions
- If using whole pickles, cut them in half lengthwise. Dab pickles dry with a paper towel.
- Heat a 6-inch skillet over medium heat.
- Add a cheese slice or ½ cup of shredded cheese to the skillet. Let it cook undisturbed until it becomes browned and lacy on one side.
- Add ½ of a pickle on one end and, using a spatula, roll the chickle jelly-roll style.
- Using tongs, transfer to a paper towel lined plate and repeat with remaining pickles.
- Serve with ranch dressing for dipping.
